But moving on; what’s new? Let’s see, we beat Juniors the ooooothhherrrr week ago. Old news, they used some stupid QoP/SandK/CK/SkeK/something. 4 melee ftw. Moving on; I flail for honours and studies now. Hmm… And fail that. And. THAT. Zzzz as much as I would want to, but nooooooo. But no, that’s not the point of teh welcome post.
First off; teh hapi burtdays! Zzz late: hapi burtdayz to me and mai brogs. DD And. that again. Uh huh. Next; let’s talk about teeehhh. DotA! Zzz nothing really new. Kinda lazy days nowadays; no matches with KAGED/P or practices or w/e, nothing worth noting in CT-DotA. Hu hu hu. But. It all changes today(?)!
GG-Client presents it’s first major Tournament; ADC (Obviously Asia-DotA-Championships). Phase 1 with teams fighting off each other, gets top10 per country, fight on phase 2 till the finals on phase 3. Whats the point? It’s Asia DotA! It’s the time to shiiinnneeeeeeeeeee. Yeah, but I only asked Drew. Don’t know about the others, but I’m sure they’ll be upto it. But the thing is, this is a good opening for a Real Competitive game. A chance, not only to play a real, good game, but also to lecture and improve KAGED/P strats. Yeah.
But let’s see. I’m pretty confident we’ll be able to get in Phase 2, PH players are teh lolzorz. Even teh Flow or w/e teams go play, more or less, we’ll be able to score in the top10. The real game starts here; phase 2. Facing SG’s Zenithology, China’s WE, Korea’s… Uh. Korea team. Those are teh real stuffs. Yeah, we’ll probably lose. But hoping we could really improve before and after this, it’s a well played game. Good experience for the team and most of all, for me and my competitive DotA. DD Not to mention time to make a name >:) But yeah; moving on.
Team Potential. How much do we have? Now first, I wanted the ‘dreamteam’ of CT underdogs but noooo. Baby-ing them takes too much time. So late last year I got to be with theCT team. But nooo. As I already know; teaching an old dog new tricks is haaard. And using an old dog WITHOUT any tricks is moar harder. Well, not really no tricks, but you get the point. Now with KAGED? They’ve got the skills and experience, but now they need to really learn the game competitively —> strategy. Hopefully, one of these days I’ll get to tell(lecture :3) about strategy, most importantly lineups and overall early-game strat.
Team KAGED/P really needs to think over the lineups. Since Gian thinks of using the same team over and over again, that is a big noooo for us. Hopefully, AoE/Push Strat will be successfully changed to Gank Strats, which is teh hot. Next, is the early game strat. Push = fail. Those simple things, then slowly go to focus on Gank Strats and real teamwork. Uh huh.
So. What’s the real team potential? Personally, I am very confident. If KAGED/P manages to hear me out and adjusts accordingly, we’ll be able to play well. Like what I read in one of my old posts, it says, the other shops have the skills, but they don’t have the ‘honya’~! :O The the the the what? The honya! So yeah, probably another one of those resurrection, but less on that, if they just get into the right mindset of the game, gee-gee. It is well interesting that a team that consists of me and drew; will be fun. I can pretty much talk to most of them if they listen on strats; so yeah. Hopefully.
Another thing to look upon is that it’s. A real competitive game. NO -NP. That’s almost 99% true; should be. Next question is would it still be old -lm, or an -ap draft/-xl. I’m vouching for -xl since it’s hawt obviously, but since we/i don’t really have experience on that… maybe -ap draft would be fine. Grabbing SK/Lock/Sil :O Or rather SK/Lesh/Lock/FV/QoP :O Or something similar that fits the team. Either way, it’s gonna be hawt.
Finally, all of this, i can’t wait. My first, real break in competitive DotA, first major real match with KAGED/P, what would be the outcome? Then again, this is still not 100% since I haven’t talked to Gian, but yeah. I’m pretty sure he’d be fine and agree with it, and then the next thing I’ll know is I’ll be facing Chu or iceiceice or someone else :3 Well; goodluck and see yah~
